The series of “Tihany” Symposium on Radiation Chemistry aims to promote worldwide scientific and technical collaboration among scientists involved in various aspects of radiation research and applications in a stimulating and thought provoking environment. The first Symposium was held in Tihany in 1962 and since then has been held approximately every four years.
